Strategies for Inclusive Teaching Online
This workshop led by Professor Simon Thompson (University of Sussex) will encourage reflection on what it means to be inclusive in establishing and delivering online learning.
Six principles will be shared which respond to established and emerging needs of learners to genuinely connect and reorientate teaching, learning and assessment in an online space.
The session will explore how online pedagogies can maintain establishing high expectations, prioritising student engagement, embedding ongoing assessment and feedback and recognising the importance of strategies to encourage learners to take an active role in their curriculum.
